Chia seeds are low in sugar and starch, while having a very high Omega 3 and ALA (alpha-Linolenic acid) content.
The seeds contain gelatinous fibre, which aids digestion and slows down the rise in blood sugar levels. This makes chia seeds an excellent choice of feed before or after work to increase stamina and recovery.
