EquiShure consists of of sodium bicarbonate, a base that can neutralize lactic acid. The special thing about EquiShure is that the bicarbonate is encapsulated in a time-locked capsule. The encapsulation allows EquiShure to pass through the first part of the intestinal tract to the large intestine where the effect is desired. Several attempts have been made, which show that EquiShure can help maintain the pH (acidity) of the large intestine stable upon ingestion of large amounts of sugar, starch and fructose. Normally, the pH drops in excess of sugar / starch and fructose, which can cause digestive problems.
