Dubarry Waxed Cotton Dressing is a wax treatment for reproofing and caring for jackets and other garments made from waxed cotton. The treatment helps restore the water repellent properties of the fabric as the original wax coating begins to wear away. Regular rewaxing helps maintain the performance of the waxed outer fabric over time.
Directions for use:
1. Make sure the garment is clean and completely dry before treatment. For best results, work in a warm room.
2. Apply a thin layer of wax using a clean cloth or sponge and work it evenly into the fabric.
3. Pay particular attention to seams and areas subject to greater wear.
4. Gently warm the fabric with a hairdryer to help the wax penetrate. Avoid excessive heat.
5. Wipe away any excess wax with a clean cloth.
