St. Hippolyt Beta-Carotin Mare-Y-Mix is a specially formulated supplement for breeding horses, designed to support fertility and reproduction. A deficiency in beta-carotene is not uncommon, particularly during the winter months when access to fresh pasture is limited, and it may negatively affect fertility in both mares and stallions.

Beta-carotene plays an important role in the reproductive process. In mares, it is essential for proper follicle development and a regular oestrus cycle, and during the early stages of pregnancy it contributes to a favourable environment for embryo development. In stallions, beta-carotene is associated with sperm quality and reproductive performance, which can influence breeding behaviour and overall results.

During winter, it can be difficult to meet the horse’s beta-carotene requirements through forage and concentrate feed alone, as natural levels are higher in fresh grass. Beta-Carotin Mare-Y-Mix is therefore particularly suitable as preparation for the breeding season and can be fed before and during the covering period, prior to turnout on pasture.

The product is developed to support fertility in both mares and stallions and may contribute to a more optimal start to the breeding season.

- Supports fertility in breeding mares
- Contributes to good sperm quality in stallions
- Suitable before and during the breeding season
- Compensates for reduced beta-carotene intake during winter

Feeding recommendation:
About 20 g per 100 kg body weight for mares and stallions November to April togheter with the usual feeding.

NOTE! This is not a complete mineral supplement.

1 scoop = approximately 120 g
