Terms & Conditions
Muscle Gard contains high levels of the key amino acids lysine, methionine and threonine – building blocks essential for effective muscle development and repair. It also provides elevated levels of manganese, magnesium and zinc, together with vitamins B, C and E, which play a central role in muscle metabolism, nerve function and cellular protection. The reduced calcium content is designed to help minimise the risk of unwanted muscle cramps and support a balanced mineral status.
The product is completely grain-free and contains no added sugar, making it suitable for horses sensitive to starch and sugar. Muscle Gard also includes sea buckthorn macerate to support the gastric mucosa, an important consideration as horses with muscle-related issues often also have sensitive stomachs.
Muscle Gard is part of St. Hippolyt’s Muscle Range, a series developed to meet the increased nutritional demands of performance horses during training and competition. The range is characterised by high-quality protein, low sugar and starch levels, and a particular focus on magnesium for muscles and nerves, manganese to help reduce muscle tension, and vitamin E for antioxidant protection.
The product is particularly suitable for horses lacking muscle development, experiencing reduced stamina or endurance, prone to stiffness and tension, or lacking natural impulsion. It can be combined with other products from the Muscle Range to suit both easy and hard keepers, providing optimal conditions for training, performance and overall wellbeing.
