Well functioning and relaxed muscles are essential for performance in all equestrian disciplines. Magnesium plays a central role in the interaction between the nervous system and the muscles and helps the muscles relax after contraction. At the same time, vitamin E supports the cells’ oxygen supply by neutralising free radicals, contributing to healthy muscle function.

Magnesium deficiency may appear as muscle tension, nervousness, sensitivity to weather changes or reduced willingness to work. The requirement may increase in horses undergoing intensive training, during the competition season, during transport, when changing stables or in other stressful situations. Young horses in training, older horses and mares in late pregnancy may also have an increased need.

Makor provides bioavailable magnesium and natural vitamin E to support muscle function and nerve activity. The formula is complemented with herbs such as hawthorn, fennel, coriander, ginger and garlic, which contribute additional nutritional properties.

The product is particularly suitable during periods of increased training intensity or for horses that easily become tense, nervous or sensitive to weather changes.

Feeding recommendation
Approximately 5 g per 100 kg body weight daily together with the regular feed. If necessary, the amount may be doubled for short periods. The product is not intended as a complete mineral supplement.

Please note that this complementary feed contains higher levels of vitamins and minerals than a standard complementary feed and should therefore not exceed 0.7% of the horse’s total daily ration including forage. Always follow the recommended feeding instructions.
