The liver plays a central role in the horse’s metabolism, detoxification and nutrient processing. Equimeb Hepa contains a carefully balanced combination of nutrients that support liver cell function and regeneration. The essential amino acids lysine and methionine are important building blocks for cellular renewal and therefore form a key part of the formulation.

The supplement is complemented with herbs such as milk thistle seeds and artichoke, traditionally valued for their supportive properties for the liver. In addition, Equimeb Hepa contains functional nutrients such as linseed, brewer’s yeast, wheat bran and B vitamins, which promote a healthy gut environment and may help reduce the burden on the liver.

Antioxidants play an important role in protecting the body’s cells. OPC from grape seeds, vitamin E, B vitamins, zinc, selenium and magnesium, as well as essential fatty acids from linseed, contribute to protecting cells against oxidative stress and free radicals.

Equimeb Hepa is a concentrated alternative for horses that do not require a larger amount of complementary feed. In situations where a complete specialist feed such as Meta Diät is not appropriate, Equimeb Hepa can be used to provide targeted liver supporting nutrients in a smaller daily amount.

Feeding recommendation
10–20 g per 100 kg bodyweight daily. May be fed as the sole feed supplement alongside forage, or together with the regular complementary feed.
