How to use the product:

1. Make sure the garment is clean and dry before treatment. It is best to work in a warm room.
2. Apply the Waxed Cotton Dressing with a clean cloth or sponge. Start at the back of the garment and work your way around.
3. Work the wax in thoroughly, paying particular attention to seams and areas subject to extra wear. Avoid applying too much product.
4. Once the wax has been applied, gently warm the garment with a hairdryer or leave it hanging near a radiator. 5. The heat helps the wax penetrate and absorb properly.
6. Once the wax has been absorbed, wipe away any excess with a clean cloth.

Regular re-waxing helps maintain the garment’s water-repellent properties and can also restore the fresh, well-maintained appearance of waxed fabric. Dubarry recommends re-waxing approximately once a year, depending on how frequently the garment is used.
