Itchgard from Carr & Day & Martin is an anti-itch gel that is massaged into exposed areas of the horse.
ItchGard, from Carr & Day & Martin, is an anti-itch lotion that's perfect for the summer as it effectively relieves itchy skin caused by mild sunburns and insect bites.
The gel contains extracts from lemongrass, calendula, geranium and menthol oil which all help to soothe and cool down irritated skin. ItchGard is a non-sticky gel which, through protective and conditioning properties, also minimizes the risk of chafed mane and tail.
Relieves itching Calms and cools irritated skin Prevents chafing on mane and tail Protects the integrity of the skin Stick-free Competitors' Association Competition in Sweden and for competitions subject to NEMAC - 0h clearance, clearance-free NEMAC's (Nordic Equine Medication and Anti-doping Committee) clearance list includes the Swedish Equestrian Federation ( SvRF), Svensk Galop (SG), Svensk Travsport (ST) and Svenska lslandshästförbundet (SIF) as well as Det Norske Travselskap (DNT), Norsk Jockeyklub (NJ), Dansk Travsports Centralforbund (DTC) and Dansk Galop (DG). FEI - 0h withdrawal period, no withdrawal period Use Shake well before use.
Carefully massage a small amount of lotion into the affected area. Use 1-3 times a day for 3 weeks, reduce frequency to once a week if still needed.
