Varicex® S Zinc Bandage is a lightly elastic zinc paste bandage used in the treatment of conditions such as tendon injuries, splints, filled legs, periostitis and swelling in horses.

The bandage is impregnated with moist zinc paste and is easy to handle during application. As it dries, it forms a semi-rigid, supportive dressing that provides stability while delivering an astringent and soothing effect throughout the healing process.

Apply the bandage directly to the skin, coat or over wounds. Supplied individually wrapped, it can remain in place for up to 7 days, or as recommended by a veterinarian.

Important when applying:
- Do not apply too tightly
- Wrap with approximately 50% overlap
- Avoid gaps in the bandaging
- Always protect with, for example, vetrap
- If the bandage loosens, it should be replaced with a new one
