Powered by a 10.8 V Li-ion battery, the Heiniger Xplorer delivers approximately 2,450 double strokes per minute and is designed to handle dense and coarser coats as well as full-body clipping. Each battery provides up to approximately 120 minutes of clipping time, and two batteries are included so one can be charged while the other is in use. Charging takes approximately 60–70 minutes.

Weighing approximately 990 g, the clipper has a well-balanced design for comfortable handling. Cordless operation gives you greater freedom of movement around the horse, while the noise level of approximately 65 dB(A) makes the Xplorer relatively quiet in use.
