Unlike conventional double-jointed bits, the KK Ultra features a shortened centre link. This anatomical design optimises the bit's action, making it softer yet more precise. When rein contact is applied, the centre link—also known as the lozenge—gently rolls over the sensitive centre of the tongue, stimulating its sensory receptors. The movable joints allow the centre link to roll smoothly without creating uncomfortable pressure, resulting in improved communication and greater acceptance.
