Terms & Conditions

Proferm is a prebiotic and probiotic feed supplement with a low gluten content, designed as a complement to the horse's daily diet. It contains live microorganisms, prebiotic fibres, antioxidants and bioactive compounds.

A balanced gut microbiota plays an important role in the horse's normal digestion, nutrient absorption and immune function. Proferm contains prebiotic fibres that serve as a source of nutrition for beneficial microorganisms in the gut. Together with the live microorganisms, they help support a balanced gut environment, normal digestive function and the horse's overall well-being.

Proferm can be fed all year round or for shorter periods and can be mixed with other feeds and supplements. It is suitable for horses of all ages and activity levels.

Proferm may be a suitable supplement:
- During feed changes and when introducing pasture grazing
- During relocation, competition and other environmental changes
- To support normal feed utilisation
- For horses with sensitive digestion or sensitive skin
- For older horses
- During or after periods of medication, vaccination or deworming
- For pregnant and lactating mares, as well as foals from six weeks of age

Size: 5 kg

Recommended daily feeding rate:
Large horse (approx. 500 kg): 50 g per day.
Pony (approx. 250 kg): 25 g per day.

Dosage: Approximately 10 g per 100 kg of body weight per day.

50 g corresponds to approximately 2.5 dl (250 ml).

A 5 kg pack provides approximately 100 days' supply at the recommended maintenance feeding rate. Start with a smaller amount and gradually increase the dosage over 1–2 weeks.

If your horse is receiving medication or has a medical condition, always consult a veterinarian before use.
