ChondroPlus from Friska Leder is a joint supplement for horses developed for horses in active training and competition. The supplement contains high molecular weight hyaluronic acid combined with glucosamine sulphate, chondroitin sulphate and Boswellia Serrata to support normal joint function and contribute to healthy, well functioning joints.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the synovial fluid and helps promote the production of high quality joint fluid. It acts as both a lubricant and shock absorber while supporting the transport of nutrients into the joint and waste products away from it.
Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate are important building blocks for the quality and durability of joint cartilage. Cartilage has a limited ability to rebuild itself and a daily supplement can therefore provide valuable support for horses that are trained and regularly exercised.
ChondroPlus also contains Boswellia Serrata extract which helps the hyaluronic acid remain in the joint for longer and supports the quality of the joint fluid.
The powder has a banana flavour for easy administration and is given together with feed.
