Terms & Conditions

Glyx Mash from St. Hippolyt is a cereal free mash developed to support the horse’s digestive system in a gentle and well considered way.

Soaked mash is often used to stimulate digestion and provide extra care on special occasions, such as after intense work, during convalescence or in connection with coat change. Glyx Mash is particularly suitable for good doers and ponies, as well as for horses that are sensitive to sugar and starch.

The product has a low content of sugar and starch and is a low glycaemic feed, contributing to a more stable blood sugar level. Many common treats may contain considerable amounts of sugar and starch, which over time can negatively affect bodyweight and metabolism. Glyx Mash offers an alternative that combines palatability with a carefully balanced nutritional composition.

The cereal free and molasses free formula is also gluten free. A rich composition of prebiotic ingredients helps to harmonise intestinal function and support a balanced gut flora. Gently crushed linseed provides natural mucilage that protects the mucous membranes throughout the digestive tract.

The fibres in Glyx Mash promote healthy gut activity and support the elimination of waste products and unwanted substances. The product can be used to stimulate digestion, on rest days, during coat change, after intensive training or as support during recovery.

- Low in sugar and starch
- Low glycaemic feed for sensitive horses and good doers

Feeding recommendation
70–250 g per 100 kg bodyweight daily, mixed with 1.5–2 times as much lukewarm water. Allow to soak for approximately 15 minutes before feeding. During summer, cold water may be used; in this case allow the mash to soak for 30 minutes before feeding. Feed 3–4 times per week. If required, a smaller amount may be fed daily.

1 litre = approximately 430 g.
