Features
- The wool in EA Mattes sheepskin products has an open structure that allows air to circulate. This helps balance temperature differences and prevents heat build-up, making the products suitable for both summer and winter use.
- EA Mattes sheepskin products have high absorbency. The wool can absorb up to eight times its own weight in moisture before feeling damp.
- Sheepskin provides excellent pressure-distributing properties, increasing comfort and reducing discomfort for the horse. The unique structure of EA Mattes sheepskin allows the horse’s muscles to move and develop naturally.
- The wool fibers glide smoothly against the horse’s coat, helping to prevent chafing.
- EA Mattes sheepskin products are highly durable and can last for years with proper care. The tanning process used makes the products washable. Please follow the instructions below:
Washing Instructions
- EA Mattes sheepskin products can be machine washed using a delicate cycle at 30°C with the brand’s own detergent, MELP, which is specially formulated for sheepskin. Avoid using fabric softener or detergents not intended for sheepskin. The pads maintain their quality best when washed regularly.
- Tumble dry on a cool setting (max. 30°C), or air dry outdoors in the shade (avoid direct sunlight).
- For light cleaning, gently brush using the rough side of a kitchen sponge. Avoid using a brush, as it may damage the material.
