Designed in two separate parts, the anatomically shaped pad sits against the horse while the girth itself runs freely through it. This allows the girth to move sideways and diagonally with the horse's movement, while the pad remains stable over the sternum.

A soft, raised edge around the pad helps reduce concentrated pressure on sensitive areas. The design also helps keep the saddle stable. For horses that are particularly sensitive to girth pressure, the RP may be a suitable option.
